1. Who is responsible

2. What data we process and why

• Bookings (via the website, WhatsApp or email): first name, surname, email, phone, number of guests, dates and payment method. We use them to manage your booking and your stay. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
• Guest registration: before your arrival we ask for the details and identity document required by Spanish Royal Decree 933/2021, and we send them to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior (SES.Hospedajes). Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Enquiries by WhatsApp or email: to reply to you. Legal basis: your request and pre-contractual steps.
• Invoicing: to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Website statistics (Google Analytics): only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie notice. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Who we share it with

• The Spanish Ministry of the Interior (SES.Hospedajes), as required by law.
• PayPal, if you pay by PayPal or card, or your bank, if you pay by bank transfer.
• Providers who deliver services to us: web hosting, email, Google (Analytics) and WhatsApp (Meta). Some may process data outside the European Union, always with the safeguards required by the GDPR (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).
• Our accountant, for bookkeeping and taxes.

We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. How long we keep it

• Booking data and invoices: for the period required by tax and commercial law, up to 6 years.
• Guest registration: 3 years, as required by law.
• Photos or copies of documents received by WhatsApp or email: deleted as soon as the registration is complete.
• Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: one year at most.

5. Your rights

You can ask to access, rectify or erase your data, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent. Write to contacto@cabanalanz.com stating which right you wish to exercise.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

6. Cookies

The website uses technical cookies, which it needs to work, and analytics cookies only if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie notice.
