Terms and conditions

All bookings at CabanaLanz are subject to these conditions. By booking, you accept them.

1. Check-in and check-out

Check-in is between 3 pm and 7 pm. If you arrive later, we can still welcome you: just ask us when you book.
Check-out is by 11 am at the latest.
Only registered guests may stay on the estate. Visitors are not allowed. We reserve the right of admission.

Before arrival you must send us the passport or ID card of every guest, as we are required to present it if the authorities ask us to.
Without these documents we cannot hand over the keys, and we may cancel the booking without a refund.

On arrival you pay a €300 security deposit, in cash or by PayPal, as a guarantee against possible damage.
We return it at check-out, by the same method, after checking the accommodation.
We may deduct from the deposit the cost of extra cleaning, damage, repairs, replacing items or any breach of these conditions, including leaving dishes unwashed or smoking indoors.

You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival (45 days if your stay is longer than 7 nights). We refund what you paid, except the PayPal surcharge, which is non-refundable.
If you cancel after that, the amount is not refunded.
If you do not arrive on the scheduled date, the booking is treated as a no-show and cancelled without a refund.
Transferring the booking to another person has an administration fee of €100.
You can change your dates once, at no cost, up to 20 days before arrival, subject to availability and for dates within the next 12 months. After a date change, the booking can no longer be cancelled with a refund.
If the new dates or accommodation are more expensive, you pay the difference. If they are cheaper, the difference is not refunded.
If you shorten your stay, unused nights are not refunded.

Parties and events of any kind are not allowed. We ask for quiet from 10 pm. If this rule is broken, we may end the stay without a refund.
All accommodation is non-smoking. You may smoke outdoors. Smoking indoors carries a €250 charge to remove the smell from fabrics, mattresses and wood.
Pets are not allowed. If we find a pet in the accommodation, the stay will end without a refund.
Please leave the accommodation clean and tidy, with no rubbish, bottles, food or personal belongings. If it is not left in good condition, we may charge an extra fee at check-out.
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times, who is responsible for them throughout the stay.

The estate runs on solar power and water is brought in by truck, so we ask you to use both in moderation.
High-consumption appliances that are not already in the accommodation, such as irons or hair dryers, may not be used, as they can damage the installation. Any damage would be charged to the guest.
Washing clothes in the accommodation is not allowed: the water is filtered and reused to water the plants. Any damage caused would be charged to the guest.

We may enter the accommodation for inspections, repairs or maintenance, letting you know beforehand, except in an emergency.

Do not leave valuables unattended. When you go out, close the doors and windows. CabanaLanz is not responsible for the loss or theft of jewellery, money, documents or other valuables.
CabanaLanz is not liable for injury, illness or damage to guests or their belongings that is not caused by its own actions or negligence.
Nor for disturbance caused by neighbours or by circumstances beyond its control, such as water, power or internet outages.
